P.S- This is just a small part of Al Pacino’s speech as Lt. Col. Frank Slade… for the rest of it you’ll havta watch the movie (I’ve, personally, watched it too many times to count.)... if you haven’t watched it already. Kudos to the stellar performances by Pacino n Chris O’Donnell ! Way to go!!

The Alchemist is a great book!

Kangaroo Notebook

The main character spends much of the book walking around with an IV bag, which turns into a squid, and attacks him at his very moment of need. Absurd as the quote is, it’s a great thing to remember about people you spend a lot of time around.

Sounds like an interesting book… it’s true that sometimes the people you think are your best friends and are closest to you can stab you in the back without thinking twice, so choose your friends carefully. I like that quote.

A really depressing thought :(....speaking of which, I recall these beautiful quotes from Bladerunner (I haven’t read the book though) -

1. All these moments will be lost in time like tears in rain

2. Its too bad she didn’t live. But then again, who does?

One of my favourites is from Kerouac’s On the Road:

Really? You guys think it’s depressing? I just think it’s a good life lesson.

Plus, I always like that it’s a bit cryptic and confusing to people :)
